The Alice Wilson Room features the latest information technology to expand access for people who are challenged by visual impairments, learning disabilities and literacy difficulties. The Kurzweil is an easy to use computerized system for low vision readers, equipped with audio and large print technology. The enhanced PC includes a scanner and Zoomtext, a fully integrated magnifier and screen reader. The electronic typewriter offers a professional touch keyboard and advanced typing capabilities, including text storage and correction memory. The Microform Reader/Printer provide easy browsing and printing of genealogy sources, like back issues of the Brighton Pittsford Post, the Democrat & Chronicle and local history records. The scanner, attached to the PC,  allows you to scan and e-mail a document or photo.
