Capital Campaign
The Capital Campaign offers opportunities to contribute toward the development of new and ongoing capital initiatives that will advance Library services and enhance the facility and Library gardens.
 
Technology Initiatives
 
v     Security and inventory control technology to protect investment in Library collections
 
v     Advanced digital technology to speed check-out and return time at the circulation desk
 
v     State-of-the art technology for advanced Internet training, distance learning  and programming
 
v      Digital imaging technology to expand access to information
 
Aesthetic Initiatives
 
v      Sculpture, trees and shrubs for the Library gardens
 
v      Naming opportunities for designated rooms and furnishings
 
Donors of $100 and above will be recognized, if desired, on the Donor Wall in the Library and in the Annual Report.
 
Special naming opportunities exist at $500 and above.
 
Contributions to the Brighton Memorial Library Capital Campaign are tax deductible.

The Brighton Memorial Library Gift Fund
Because you value your Library as a community resource...
A contribution to the Brighton Memorial Library Gift Fund provides enduring value for you, for members of your family and for your community. Your gifts permit enhancements to the Library that are beyond the scope of the Library's operating budget. A variety of giving opportunities are available to you within the Brighton Memorial Library Gift Fund.

Library Materials Funds

Gifts may be made to the Library Materials Funds for books and other materials in honor or in memory of an individual or family, or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

Where possible, memorial, honor and commemorative books shall be selected in a subject area according to the donor's request and each shall be inscribed with a bookplate according to the donor's wishes.

Special Gifts Fund

Gifts in any amount may also be made to the Special Gifts Fund to enhance services and provide for the development of the facility.

Details regarding giving in the form of bequests and planned giving may be obtained from the Executive Director.

Acknowledgement

Gifts to the Library Materials Fund and to the Special Gifts Fund shall be acknowledged by the Executive Director.

All gifts made to the Brighton Memorial Library Gift Fund are tax deductible.
