Colorful stories, fun songs and rhymes are combined to help make language and learning an integral part of your child’s life.
 
Bonding with Babies: Tuesdays, 10:45 am, through May 13
for non-walkers; held in the Discovery Room
 
Lap Sit: Fridays, 11:15 am, through May 23 for non-walkers
 
Wobbly Toddlers: Fridays, 12:15 pm, through May 23 for walkers
 
Tot Time: Mondays, 10:45 am, through May 26 for ages 2-4
 
Tot Time: Tuesdays, 10:00 am, through May 27
for walkers–age 3; no stories May 13
 
Family Time: Thursdays, 7 pm, through May 8 for all ages

Lindsay Kuhn from Smoke Ridge Organics Butterfly Farm will teach children about Monarch Butterflies. Ages 2-5 w/ an adult. Sponsored by the Friends of BML

‘Get Graphic!’ Graphic Novel Book Club: Warriors: The Lost Warrior
Tuesday, May 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Based on Erin Hunter’s Warriors series. Ages 9-12 are welcome to read the book and join the discussion. Books are available in the Children’s Center.

YA May Days: Preview New YA Novels!
May 1 through May 31
Ages 12-18 who read and review a young adult novel will receive a gift card to Barnes & Noble, get their reviews included in a YA library brochure, AND get their positive picks displayed in June! Novels must be from the YA section, and have been published in 2007 or 2008. Teens must read a book they have not read before, and review the book between May 1 and May 31. One review per teen. Hand in your reviews to a reference librarian and expect a call on June 2 for details on picking up your gift card! Sponsored by the Friends of BML.
