Brighton Kiwanis Discovery Room
Activities everyday! Music, puppets, crafts and more for toddlers through 3rd graders to explore with their caregivers.
 
Every Child Ready To Read is an exciting new program that helps infants through five year olds gain the skills needed to be ready to learn to read. Ask at the Children's Center about Early Literacy Kits. This program is made possible by a grant from the New York State Department of Education.

Saturday @ the Movies: Planet 51 (PG, 91 min.)                                                         Saturday, September 25 @ 11 am
American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of a cheerfully innocent 1950s America, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders—like Chuck! Snacks are welcome. Sponsored by the Friends of BML. 
 
Library Club Informational Meeting
Tuesday, September  28 @ 4:30 pm
Ages 8 – 11 are invited to this informational meeting to discuss forming a library club. Library club will meet once a month and discuss a variety of things, including books we’ve read, what types of books the library should purchase, and types of programs the library should offer. We’ll have crafts, reader's theater, and more. Sponsored by the Friends of BML.
