Summer 2019 Practicums for Library Science Degree Students
The Brighton Memorial Library (BML) invites Library Science Degree candidates to apply for positions in our well-established practicum program for the summer of 2019. 20 students from The University at Buffalo and Syracuse University have worked with our staff over the last 9 years. The majority of our past interns have been hired for librarian positions in the Rochester region as well as out of state. Our goal is that students will be ready to apply for professional library positions when they complete our practicums. If you are looking to gain first-hand experience working as a librarian in a public library and building skills that can be highlighted on your resume, this is the opportunity for you.
