Brighton Memorial Library Announces New Board of Trustees Opening (volunteer position)


The Brighton Town Board is seeking applicants interested in serving as a volunteer member of the Brighton Memorial Library Board of Trustees. The Library Board's responsibilities include setting policy, securing adequate funding, and advocating for the library. The Library Board is comprised of five members who are appointed by the Town Board to serve five-year terms.


Applicants must be Town of Brighton residents and available for meetings on the third Monday of the month at 4:30 PM either in person or via Zoom. Those interested in being interviewed for membership should submit a letter of interest and resume by Monday, November 15, 2021, to Assistant to the Town Supervisor Bridget Monroe, Town of Brighton, 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618, or bridget.monroe@townofbrighton.org.
