Donating Materials to Brighton Memorial Library

Material donations are now welcome by appointment.

BML is now accepting donations! If you are among the many who have cleaned out their bookshelves during the pandemic, now is the time to move them out of your house and into our library.

Please call 585-442-9731 and leave a message. You will receive a return call to arrange a drop off time. We can only accept donations via appointment at this time. Please do not drop your books off at the library without one.

The Friends of Brighton Memorial Library is a hardworking volunteer organization that supports and promotes the library. Donations are sorted and sold at the Friends book sales and in the Dorothy & Jack Pitlick Bookstore, as well as via Internet sales. Revenues generated are then given back to the library in the form of funding for new initiatives and for library programming. We couldn’t do what we do without our Friends!
