Upcoming Friends of BML Book Sale Information

​ **Please note that the upcoming book sale will take place at 12 Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 Winton Rd. South in Brighton.

  • Thursday, April 23 (Members Day or $5)  9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Friday, April 24                                          9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Saturday, April 25                                     12:00 PM – 3:30 PM

  • Sunday, April 26 (Half-Price Day)             12:00 PM – 3:30 PM

  • Monday, April 27 ($5 Bag Day)                 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

​​​Book Sale Item Donations

WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM 4/18- 5/1 during the book sale and reorganization.

​​​​​​​​

​The Friends of BML accepts material donations for their book sales. Funds raised through these book sales go toward library programming for all ages.

 

Guidelines:

A limit of two bags of book sale items can be brought to Brighton Memorial Library per day. If you have a larger donation, please email the Friends at fbml.booksale@gmail.com to arrange for delivery or to have the items picked up by the volunteer group. Please look at the graphic below regarding what are considered unacceptable for donation:

When choosing items to donate, please ask yourself, "Is this in nice enough condition to give as a gift?"

BML accepts in good condition:

  • Books for children, young adults, and adults

  • Audiovisual materials (audio books, CDs, DVDs)

  • Magazines (up to one year old)

  • Textbook (up to five years old)

BML cannot accept:

  • Damp, musty, or damaged books

  • Records, VHS or cassette tapes

  • Encyclopedias

  • Homemade recordings

  • Items not in resale-ready condition cannot be accepted.
