  • BML will close at 5 PM on Wednesday, December 31.                                                                                                                                                                                                        

  • BML will be closed on Thursday, January 1.                                                                                                                                                                       

  • A month-long winter scavenger hunt is occurring in the Children's Center.  See a Children's Librarian for details.                                                                                                                                                                                                        

  • The Teen Writing Club meets Saturday, January 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 at 1:00 PM in the Teen Center.  Registration required.

  • The Alice B. Wilson Literary Awards Contest is open for submissions from January 2 until February 15.  Please see brightonlibrary.org/teen-events for details.                                                                                                                                                                                         

  • Sensory Storytime is Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 AM with Ms. Jen.                                                                                                                                                                       

  • Bestseller Book Club is reading and discussing There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak on Thursday, January 8 at 5:00 PM.  Registration required.                                                              

  • Books Sandwiched In is on Thursday, January 8 at 12:00 PM.  Adrienne Pettinelli, Director of Henrietta Public Library, will be discussing That Librarian: The Fight Against Book Banning  by Amanda Jones.

  • BML will open at 11 AM on Thursday, January 29 for a staff meeting.                                                                                                                                                              ​

  • Our BML Foundation Annual Campaign is in full swing.  Help expand our services and benefit the entire community for years to come by donating to BML.
