• The Teen Writing Club meets Saturday, January 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 at 1:00 PM in the Teen Center.  Registration required.

• The Alice B. Wilson Literary Awards Contest is open for submissions from January 2 until February 15.  Please see brightonlibrary.org/teen-events for details.                                                                                                                                                                                         

• Sensory Storytime is Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 AM with Ms. Jen.                                                                                                                                                                       

• Bestseller Book Club is reading and discussing There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak on Thursday, January 8 at 5:00 PM.  Registration required.                                                              

• Books Sandwiched In is on Thursday, January 8 at 12:00 PM.  Adrienne Pettinelli, Director of Henrietta Public Library, will be discussing That Librarian: The Fight Against Book Banning  by Amanda Jones.

• Cookbook Club meets​ Wednesday, January 14 at 6:00 PM.  Register for the program and select your recipe at the Info Desk.

• A Crash Course in Children's Publishing (Part 1) is Thursday, January 16 at 6:00 PM.  Registration required.

• Low Impact "Easy" Exercise is Sunday, January 18 at 1:00 PM.  Presented by A. Rodney, certified stretch practitioner and dance instructor. Registration required.

• Blackstorytelling League of Rochester will share stories of history, heritage, and culture on Monday, January 19 at 11:00 AM.

• Technology Instructor Daniel Jones will present Library Apps: Libby, Hoopla, & Kanopy on Monday, January 19 at 1:00 PM.  Registration required.

• Pajama Storytime is Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 PM.

• Mystery Book Club will discuss The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins on Thursday, January 22 at 5:00 PM.  Registration required.
